I'll be playing it as soon as M$ returns my 360. Hopefully working this time around.

I never really saw the draw of guitar hero. First of all, I suck at it so that must play some role. But, more importantly, doesn't it cost a ridiculous amount of money, and then you just end up playing ddr with your fingers? I'm not trying to knock on guitar hero, it just baffles me that they can get away with charging so much money for such a simple (to create, not to play) game.

For me, it's more about the social aspect of the game. It's a game that both me and my wife can sit down, play horribly, and still have a blast. And once you do get good, it's a decent feeling of accomplishment because you're right, it's not easy.

that song causes deep pain to my hands....the intro is for the suck

the game itself is $50 so if you already have a guitar (i would assume most people would if your buying the third installment of the game) its not to bad

the money is def worth it for me since i have gotten hours of pure enjoyment from all 3 games

yeah, when i started to play it i thought the whole intro was full of chords. but then i found out... they're all hammer-on's and pull-off's. if i have someone just hold the green fret button for me, i think i might be able to make it through the intro just quick tapping my way through it.

but until then, i'm stuck in practice mode.

I was playing it at this dude that I work with's house and like, it was good and all. The only issue that I have with it after playing the previous two is that damn controller. It's just not the same for some reason. Like, the entire rhythm that I usually have literally got massacre'd and I wasn't able to do as well. So the game was great, but the new guitar was disappointing. This was on the XBOX360 but really can't imagine the wireless one being much different and/or better.

GH3 on Wii is meh. Mono sound and unless you have rechargeable batteries in your controllers, expect to change them every couple days. other than that, its ok.
